Tann Westlake is proud to have helped the University of Chichester with its first ‘virtual open day’. Chichester, like many other universities, moved quickly to an online open day format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The University was keen to showcase the university to prospective students and maintain strong open day registration figures.
The University of Chichester commissioned Tann Westlake to design and build the new virtual open day microsite, which can be found here, as well as design digital collateral for its PPC campaign.

The campaign was a tremendous success, with 300% higher open day registrations than the previous ‘on-campus’ open day. This was despite the rapid change in strategy and with lots to do in a short period of time.
The university is now planning to run virtual open days for the foreseeable future, using the Tann Westlake site. This will likely be alongside more conventional visits to ensure the safety of potential students and also their families.
