Local care.
Lasting connections.
Website design, brand design and marketing materials for a local animal charity with an important story to tell and a community to connect with.

Local care.
Clearly communicated.
Mount Noddy Animal Centre cares for and rehomes cats and dogs as part of RSPCA Sussex West, an independent local charity. Behind that work are people giving animals another chance. Its communications need to reflect that care, while helping visitors understand the organisation and how they can get involved.
We worked across website design and development, logo and brand design, and marketing collateral. Our role was to bring a clear, consistent presentation to the charity’s communications, making space for both the practical information and the personality behind the work.
A local identity.
A cause to recognise.
Our logo and brand design work gives Mount Noddy’s communications a consistent identity, connecting its local presence with the charity’s purpose. Here, the Mount Noddy logo takes centre stage before the website and wider marketing work.

The brief.
The work.
The thinking.
Website design and development
We designed and developed the website with the visitor’s questions in mind. A charity site needs to explain the work and help people find relevant information without making them search too hard. Clear structure and considered design help the story come across with warmth and purpose.
Logo and brand design
The logo and brand design needed to feel appropriate to a local animal charity: approachable, recognisable and able to work across different communications. We focused on a visual character that supports the organisation’s message, with enough consistency to make the individual pieces feel connected.
Marketing collateral
We extended that thinking into marketing collateral. Each piece needs to explain something clearly and make a good impression on behalf of the charity. Bringing the design and information together gives the team practical materials to support its communications with the local community.
Content strategy
We help Mount Noddy plan what to say, who it needs to reach and how each piece of content supports the charity’s work. That gives the team a clearer direction for sharing animal stories, explaining its services and keeping the local community involved, with a consistent voice across its communications.
Warm in character.
Clear in purpose.
There is a balance to strike between an emotional subject and useful information. We approached the work with both in mind, making the communications welcoming without losing sight of what someone needs to know.
Across the website, identity and collateral, the design supports the charity rather than competing with its story. The animals and the work of the team remain the reason to pay attention.
A caring character.
Out in the world.
From the identity itself to campaign materials and signage, the work gives Mount Noddy a recognisable presence wherever people meet the charity.

A local connection.
The charity has a coordinated set of website, brand and marketing materials that help introduce its work consistently. The pieces share a clear visual direction, giving the organisation a more connected way to communicate.
For a local charity, being understood matters. Our contribution is to help the care and purpose behind Mount Noddy come across clearly, with communications that are useful to the team and approachable for the people reading them.
Right from the beginning we felt Tann Westlake’s team actively listened to us and what we hoped to achieve with a new website. They brought to life our brief, capturing the ethos and values of our charity and how we work with animals. We are delighted with the new website.
